Sometimes having the chance to just sit down and have an easy, relaxed chat with a friend allows you to sort out all kinds of things, and perhaps even come up with a few solutions to problems bigger than your own.

…And, Brooke, I would like to add that for anyone who listened to this podcast and thought, ‘I don’t have that much time. I don’t have that much energy. I don’t have those kinds of talents,’ in the time you have, the energy you have, the talents you have you have wonderful things to offer.

As a culture we look to offering things on a physical level, but our thoughts count too. Our goodwill counts. A commitment to smile at people, to be friendly in how we relate to incidental interactions at the coffeehouse, the grocery store makes a difference.

It is not so much what we do in our lives as how we live them. We always have the option to live our lives expressing greater and greater tenderness and caring.

It doesn’t take time to do these things. It takes a desire and teeny tiny ways to connect and reconnect with the intention.

This comment comes from a woman who spends a lot of time in very physically inactive ways and refuses to allow herself to believe she doesn’t have an impact.

Thank you, Brooke for another beautiful piece.
